Street Lighting

Crimplesham currently has 19 streetlights all fitted with LED's. The Parish Council have been discussing installing more streetlights.

Public Rights of Way

What is a public right of way?

Public rights of way allow the public to walk, or sometimes ride, cycle or drive along specific routes over land which belong to someone else — this includes public footpaths, bridleways. Rights of way for pedestrians only. Dogs may be taken on suitable routes.

Local Planning Applications

The Parish Council is included in the consultation process for planning applications relating to the Parish of Crimplesham.

Traffic Calming Measures using the SAM2 Camera

Speed awareness Monitor.  Over this past year you would have noticed the SAM2 speed camera located around the village. The speed camera has proved very valuable in gathering data on traffic that passes through the village. It records every vehicle that passes through with speed recorded and time of day.

General Maintenance​

​The Parish Council is responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the village. If you would like to report any issues, please contact the Clerk.

​Maintenance of the roads, for example dealing with potholes, is the responsibility of the County Council Highways Department. Please report any issues about potholes directly via Norfolk County Council's online reporting.
